I’m excited to share some sparkling news from the world of Southern elegance and luxury. If you haven’t already heard, Elizabeth Dupree has unveiled her breathtaking high-end jewelry line. And let me tell you, it’s a smash hit.

The new boutique jewelry brand recently debuted at an event called “Jewels of Power, Presence and Personality.” Obviously, a who’s who of Atlanta society served as the host committee at the at Cherokee Town and Country Club event. Spotted among the glitterati crowd were Vickie & Lou Schwartz, Ginny Brewer, Stacey Leebern, Patti Dickey, Joanne Chesler Gross, Ginair & George McKerrow, Cindy & Bill Voyles, Jada Loveless, Keisha Noel and Preston Wilson Jr.

Nonetheless, for those who may not be familiar, Elizabeth Dupree is renowned across the country for her impeccable taste and eye for detail. The philanthropist and former art world maven has poured her heart and soul into creating a collection of timeless sophistication.

The centerpiece of Elizabeth’s collection is her stunning array of diamond and colored gemstone pieces. From ornate bracelets with custom cut-rock crystals to statement cocktail rings that demand attention, each piece is crafted in Europe with precision and passion. Additionally, I had the pleasure of trying on one of her rings (below), and let me tell you, it made me feel like a grand dame at a Charleston soirée.

Moreover, what truly sets Elizabeth’s jewelry apart is the attention to detail and the stories behind each piece. Many of her designs are inspired by the New York socialites of the 1950s and 60s. Think Capote’s Swans as muses.

But what I loved about her launch event was that Elizabeth had Cherokee Town and Country Club’s catering team do a spread of Southern goodies. For instance, there were trays of deviled eggs, pickled okra, pimento cheese balls and fried chicken at a party where a pair of earrings went for $5,600. It was the epitome of Two-Sided Southern, to say the least.

Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or find the perfect heirloom piece to pass down through generations, Elizabeth Dupree’s jewelry line is a must-see. Its European elegance embodied in glittering form—a true celebration of opulence.

But her real talent shines as a private jewelry designer open to private appointments. She is busy creating special Dupree VIP Events in multiple cities where she has strong connections: Palm Beach, Miami, the Hamptons, New York City, La Jolla, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas are first on the docket.

To get in touch with Elizabeth is an act of knowing the right people. But you could email her at elizabeth@elizabethdupree.com Or, you can simply DM me on Insta at @twosidedsouthern. Wink, wink.
