She’s the Executive Director of the Alabama Folklife Association, @alabamafolklife. “Folklife. The word is unsatisfying,” she shares. “It’s unsatisfying because it’s not a commonly used term, so people are unfamiliar with it. We always think of quilting and basketmaking when we think of the word.
